The Oliver McGowan Training on Learning Disability and Autism:
It has been confirmed that both Optometrists AND Dispensing Opticians are able to receive this fully funded training.
This Training has been developed to capture the most important skills needed by all staff working across health and social care.
Limited Additional Sessions now available for Non clinical staff ( ie Receptionists/ Practice Managers)
There is an opportunity for non-clinical staff to complete Tier 1 Part 2 of the Oliver McGowan Autism Awareness training. Tier 1 is designed for staff who require awareness of the support autistic people or people with a learning disability may need.
