Every Optometrist and Dispensing Optician is advised to ensure that they have undertaken training for the Safeguarding of Children and Vulnerable Adults. Safeguarding training is a Contract Requirement for practitioners who provide Additional Services viz: Quality in Optometry Contractor Checklist Level 2: Enhanced services and clinical governance.
